Money saving expert Martin Lewis has posted a video on Instagram detailing how people can effectively bag an absolute bargain on easyJet flights.
He wrote the message, “Urgent: Super-Cheap EasyJet Summer 2026 flights”. The finance specialist clarified when and how the holidaymakers can pick up the “dirt cheap” EasyJet flights this week.
The financial guru said that the advice is for dealings with the budget airline for aircraft for the summer of 2026. The money expert has posted the video on Instagram as a ‘heads up’ as it’s all occurring this week on Tuesday, July 22.
Martin Lewis described that, unlike some other years, July 22 of 2025, will be the date when EasyJet releases its quarterly flight launches for the summer of 2026. The finance advisor explains how EasyJet adopts a dynamic charge structure for its flights.
Martin said that, which means the price of any traveler’s flight will depend on the demand at that time. He added that if any traveler manages to book the flight at the time when it launches, then there will not be any demand for it and the price will fall bottom.
The flights are particularly ambiguous next summer, between June 15, 2026, and September 13, 2026.
The quarterly flight launch will not reveal how many seats are available; however, Martin says that it was 10 million UK flights in the previous year.
The financial expert also added that he doesn’t know the exact time when the flight will launch. However, he can say that in the past years, they have seen it at 5 or 6 am. Sometimes, the time was 8 am. Martin added that sometimes, they have seen different flights to different places come at different times during the morning.
The financial guru expressed that maybe the flight bookers can hate him for this. If someone wants to bag the super cheap flights, they must want to be up about 5:30 in the morning.
Regarding how cheap the flights will be, the finance guru said that the price may be the cheapest anyone will ever get the price. He added that there is no guarantee of the flight’s cost savings. He further added that that is a case of trial and error.
He said that the best thing the flight bookers can do is to check what other airlines are selling for the summer 2026 flights. In this way, they got a benchmark for the pricing and can understand how good a deal they are getting involved with.
